Portrait Photography
Portrait Photography is for those wanting photos they can give to modeling agents, post on social media, use on a website (corporate photo) and or share with friends and family. We offer Outside Shooting, Studio Shooting and Studio Set-up at your location. Please review our FAQ - Portrait Photos page as it may answer some questions you may have.
Outside Shooting
Outside Shooting is great because natural light can create beautiful photos and it's very economical. The disadvantages are that it's difficult to change to a 2nd outfit and unexpected rain. We also offer a ¥3,000 discount if you come to Chiba Station for a Outdoor Portrait Photography shoot. If you want to come to Chiba Station to get the discount, let us know in the Message Field when you fill out the form.

Studio Shooting
Studio Shooting or Indoor Location Photography offers benefits such as ability to change outfits, make-up space, professional lighting, no need to worry about weather and don't have to walk around. However, the cost is much higher of course. Final images are very close (if not the same) compared to Outside Shooting so it's just a personal decision to balance the pros and cons.
It may be possible to book a studio on short notice but if you want a studio shoot it's usually better to plan a week, couple weeks or month in advance.

Set-up at your location
Set-up at your location portrait photography is generally for companies that want to get corporate photos of their employees (set up at the business) or products that can't be moved from a location type of situation. Equipment will be sent to your location ahead of time, please prepare a indoor room/space where the shoot can happen. Generally these types of shoot are based on "Project Rate". Please contact me and let me know the full details so I can give a quote.
Vacation Photography
Tired of holding out your arm or Selfie Stick and snapping funky pictures (or looking funky)? Hire me as your private vacation photographer and you'll get a bunch of professional photos with ZERO hassle!
Price: Weekday - ¥18,000 + any extra transportation fees from original starting location. Weekend - ¥25,000 + any extra transportation fees from original starting location. Note that I am usually booked on weekends pretty far in advance.
Time: 2 hours. We can stay in one area or move around, whatever you like within 2 hours. If you like, and my schedule is ok, a one hour extension is possible for +¥7,000.
Starting Location: Anywhere on or within the Tokyo Yamanote Line Loop (the main line that loops around Tokyo). If the starting location is outside that loop, extra transportation fee will be required from the closest Yamanote Line Loop station.
Deliverables: 40-60 Photos. I will get some long shots, some medium shots, some close-ups and any requests you may have as we move about.
Notes: The photos will not be edited/enhanced. The delivered images will be strait out of the camera. If you really like a photo (or many) and want it to be enhanced (lightened, darkened, colorized), I can professionally do some clean-up & editing for you for an hourly rate.
Photo Tours
I have shot photography for multiple travel companies. I can suggest where to go or can guide if you have an idea of a specific location you would like to go. Of course I know all the popular urban locations but also know some lesser known suburbs and even country side locations that make for great shoots.

Deliverables: I guide you so you can focus on taking good photos. Note that I bring my camera along as well and may take some shots but my main focus is to keep things running smooth so you have time to shoot.
Commercial Photography
Photography for magazines, websites, products, etc. Since the scope and variety of this type of photography varies so greatly, we cannot set a specific rate here but for general commercial photography our hourly rate is around ¥10,000 - ¥15,000 per hour +Travel Expenses if outside the Yamanote Loop. This rate can increase depending on the scope and reach of the campaign.
We are also happy to give a quote for a complete project (not an hourly rate but rather a quote to fulfill a specific project). Generally our project rate is more economical than our hourly rate.
